Favorites
Corey Heim (20.5% to win) – Heim is a threat to win every week in the Truck Series, and this week is no exception. He already has four wins in 2024 and has led the most laps in five other races he didn’t win.
Ross Chastain (16.3% to win) – Chastain is always a contender when he drops down to Trucks. He’s led double-digit laps in both starts this year, including a runner-up finish at Charlotte.
Carson Hocevar (15.8% to win) – Hocevar dominated his most recent Truck Series start at Kansas and should be up front again. Like Chastain, he brings top-level experience and speed.
Contrarian Contenders
Chandler Smith (5.9% to win) – Smith’s team has gained stability after a rushed offseason, and the results are showing. Though known for short tracks, he’s proven he can win on big tracks too—like Pocono.
Grant Enfinger (5.9% to win) – Enfinger has quietly put together a strong stretch, with a top-11 average running position in each of the last six races. He also led the most laps the last time Trucks raced at Michigan (2020). Don’t be surprised if he challenges the favorites.
Daniel Hemric (3.9% to win) – Since winning at Martinsville, Hemric has been one of the most consistent drivers in the series—trailing only Heim in average finish. He should be a factor once again.
Contrarian Pretender
Corey LaJoie (2.6% to win) – LaJoie is back with Spire this week, but expectations should be tempered. Even elite drivers like Kyle Busch and William Byron have struggled in Spire trucks this year, and LaJoie has never finished better than 15th at Michigan in 11 Cup Series starts.
